ceramic coating

#1 Post by lague1000 » Mon Mar 07, 2005 12:09 pm

Could ceramic coating on top of piston and teflon on skirt help a little in this saga of overeated piston. The ceramic on top of piston is a thermic barrier that would prevent heat going to the piston skirt, and teflon would act as a anti friction at the skirt.
Also, if the pipe where painted with ceramic coating, which act as a thermic barrier that keps the eat inside the exhaust which gives more velocety to the exhaust gaz which should increasing HP and give your butt a brake during hot summer days.
Anyway, here are some links I found.
I would like to have your opinion please.
http://www.swaintech.com/twostroke.html ... nks
and sorry for my english is a little rusty
jp
