Regulator Rectifier

#1 Post by Beas » Sun Sep 14, 2014 11:13 am

I have a regulator rectifier part number 47X-81960-A0 that has failed. I wonder if anyone has used one with part number A1 or A2 or A3 last digits, that are currently available as a replacement.

Thanks

There is a close replica on Yambits. I have one fitted to my bike and it's working fine.

eBay just purchased 2 for $22.00 shipping included.
Installed it today with a new lithium ion battery and everything is working perfect.
I was confused on the regulators I was finding online. Same part numbers but the $$ ranged from the cheap one I got all the way up to $199.00. A very knowlagable friend said buy the cheap one and buy 2 incase of a bad one. the battery was a battery tender brand, great reviews and 3 year warranty .
Had a great ride today lights were bright, bike ran great put about 70 miles on it and checked voltage and end of ride and had 13.2 volts at battery with bike off. Fully charged ! 1st time in years I could ride more than 40 mins without the battery dieng .

That's fantastic that you got this sorted.

By any chance can you post a link to what you purchased on eBay?

This sounds like it may be good for spare parts.
