SRX250 Fuel petcock

#1 Post by thumper580 » Sat Aug 12, 2017 11:42 pm

It appears that the srx250 petcock (51Y-24500-01-00) is the same as the 500 petcock (47X-24500-01-00). Is this correct. Same number sequence except for the 47X vs the 51Y. It looks like it has the same/similar fittings...... Anyone else check this out?

Petcock is the same but outlet is smaller. I swapped it out with the one from my old leaking one.

Mike, so you are using the SRX petcock?? or did you pull the guts out of it to repair the 500 petcock. If you are using the SRX petcock, does it flow enough fuel?

Thanks.

I removed the outflow pipe from the SRX and used the outflow from my old petcock. It's a press fit.
