Check Valves

#1 Post by silverstrom » Wed Jul 17, 2019 10:15 pm

Has anyone used Suzuki oil check valve P/N 16910-41D00 to solve the problem of 2T oil leaking at the carbs? I have a set of the Suzuki check valves here and to me they look to have a smaller diameter inlet/outlet compared to the Yamaha check valves. Before I install the 16910-41D00 check valves on my RG500 I want to make sure they are up to the task and won't restrict oil flow.

I have 4 of them on my rg John. No probs with them. They came with the bike in a bag of extra parts and I fitted them as the 2 from carbs were leaking oil.

Thanks guys.

I was concerned because the openings are only about 50% the size of the Yamaha check valves.

Did you use Yamaha clamps to secure the lines to the check valves, or did you need the Suzuki clamps?
