So the TZ250 radiator was still to wide... of course the logical thing to do is pass it through the Band Saw! :D  :smt017

And the first startup in the RZV frame and with the new radiator.

What impresses me the most is not all the great stuff you have, or the simple solutions, but that you get things done.
No messing about, mulling , waiting ...

Got a chance to get the OW01 steering stem extended to match the RZ (and RZV) neck.

Took the old steel frame to use as a sizing jig.

We are in the home stretch now. Alloy tank fitted, just waiting on the 4 way TZ500J throttle cables to mount the 4-way TZ throttle. I can smell the smoker fumes already.
Sub 360lb here we come :)

You know, a lot of people might be a little hesitate about cutting a works steering stem in half, lol. But that being said it does look like it should work well. Good to see you build getting closer to completion. That alloy tank is pretty sweet!

Its OEM FZR750R OW01 forks and triple. Decently light and all alloy. I bought it years ago for a lot less than they seem to to sell for now. I am keeping the works YZR500 front end for use on the TZ250 frame build.

The alloy tank is a TZR250 1KT out of India. There seems to be an entire alloy tank replication industry operating in India. Its not a slight as it could be but still lops a couple pounds off the steel tank weight.
