Rz ride in Texas Hill Country

#1 Post by pstamper » Thu Mar 29, 2012 7:13 pm

My bro came in so we took the bikes around Llano, Fredricksburg, Burnett, Inks Lake, near Enchanted Rock and Hamilton Pool near Austin. Wildflowers and 80 degrees, it was a good 3 days. Bike never missed a beat and started first kick every time, kudos to Rick Lance.

It was fun. We did around 350 miles in two days and 80% back roads, one even turned to gravel. My brother did fine on my Bandit 1200S even after not riding for 10 years. These bikes are great for rides like this. They do not need to sit on a shelf or stay on a track. I prefer it over my Bandit, just do not want to do 75MPH cruising all day. 60 to 65 is fine and comfy except as we all know, that damn seat warmer. I will put a few more pics up. Hope your weather gets nice soon. Much prettier scenery over there.

Thanks, but it and I are happier at the track. But for road riding this area has the least traffic and best roads.

I'm not at all sure that I approve of this section of the Forum...not when I see pictures like this being posted, no Sir!

Very jealous!

Very, very cool. And an excellent riding style if I may say. Yup.
