OEM Piston Weight

Upper and Lowers are a different design
Curious if they weight the same?

Yes, they are the same weight

Hi front pistons weigh 157 grams rears weigh 144 grams that's why they originally ran the balance shaft off the front crank mitka pistons 163 grams front rears 151 grams cheers

Balance shaft has nothing to do with the pistons weight.
Balance shaft is here because this a V4 motor which is not naturally balanced contrary to a square four.
And would the balance be run by the front or the rear crankshaft, this has absolutely no importance regarding balancing.
