Probably should have asked long ago, but what happened to jackson.40?

Haven't seen a post from him in years. Sad.

I think his last post was about 2 1/2 years ago.

He had over 2,300 posts on this site, and may have been the most knowledgeable person on the planet, with regard to the RZ500.

Someone has to know what happened.

He was helpful to me about 4-5 years ago with some questions I had.
Then he was selling a lot of memorabilia on eBay, and a prototype RD500, so maybe he has moved on and sold his collection.
I guess all of our priorities and interests/passions change over time for various reasons.
Good luck Jackson.40….!

I do remember this post. Didn't think a lot about it. I didn't know he sold the prototype. Pretty sure he used to keep that bike in a plastic bubble. Sounds like you're right about him moving on.

Would have been cool if he said goodbye. I've never been interested in stock bikes, but I enjoyed his incredibly detailed knowledge and posts.

Any idea what the prototype sold for? Just curious.
