well i want the upper body
http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/yamaz/90yzr50.htm

but the reply mailis:
"Hi Guillaume,
I just talked to the tech. The YZR500 parts will absolutely not fit on the RZ500, only the tail section. A better start for fitting on the RZ500 would be the YZR350 conversion front fairing
http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/yamaz/YZR350.htm
You will have to widen the belly pan and modify the fairing for carburetor clearance but it has been done.
Regards
Dutch"

:-x i don't want body yzr350, tstststtssts i want a 500 :D

ok, please, who have information for my ?

^^ .... I'd have to agree with that assessment, Guillaume.... :???:

Anyone I know who has tried that fitment ended up having to do some cutting and custom body work. The RZ/RD series is just a bit wider than a YZR....

Hi,

Try the 1991/92 Wayne Rainey YZR500 fairing - it will be much easier to fit - you will either have to lose the carb air boxes, or re-profile the radiator ducts - in addition you will have to cut and widen the belly pan by about 5cm (2 inches) - oil tank and radiator overflow tank will also need replacing/re-locating - not easy - but possible - take a look at Wolfgang's bike - On my bike I chose to re-profile the radiator ducts and keep the standard air-boxes.
Sadly the company that I bought my 91/92 YZR500 fairing from have gone out of business - but there must be other companies that make them. - hopefully someone here will advise you on this.

Cheers
Paul
