Length of Switch

Hi Jackson
Sorry for delay in responding - been away for a few days.
I have just measured my switch and it is around 85mm long top to bottom and around 60mm top to mounting face.

Does this mean it is an RD350 switch? Is it perhaps that my RZV is a very early one frame no.888 so was the switch changed part way through production.

Anyway from what you say if I buy an RD350 YPVS switch it will be the 93mm long one and will fit flush with the shroud. Any particular RD350 model?

Hi Trevor,Maybe someone on the site can just confirm the length for the rd350 ypvs switch or you could ask the seller from the link below?.This is the switch you need or the geniune yamaha switch is 1UA8250100 (RD350 YPVS 1986)

or you can use this the cable pattern is on the left of the picture and its suitable for rd 500
