hi,any one know how the 2 stroke oil sender works on a rd500

The sender unit is really only a variable resistor which is operated by the float inside the unit. Low float level means low resistance (2 to 4 ohms)and light will come on.High float level =high resistance (about 27 ohms from memory)light goes out. 8-)
