Does anyone know where could get new seat foam for an lc? Mine is old and not great for comfort. I thought norbo sold seat foam for the lc but when i went to order one no dice , maybe discontinued .

+1 on wintergreen oil, i heard a few people using it with good results. not sure about the mixture ratio though.

Re: RD400 carbs on a RZ
when i got my lc hybrid it had 28mil low tops from an rd 400 i could not find a needle that gave enough fuel at part throttle. was never happy with the jetting . went to kehin pwk 28 carbs which worked better than 26 or 28 vm round slides. what about banshee carbs? just fit them with spigots for oil...

Re: +4 crank on a mildly modified pv engine
the pistons protrude 2 mil but my head is cut to compensate. squish is .9mil most people run .9 to 1.1. the light switch power delivery was due to the 60 thou base gasket altering the port timings. with that setup i had to rev to 10500 or it would fall off the pipe when i would shift.the set i now r...

Re: +4 crank on a mildly modified pv engine
I should mention i am running weisco 795 pistons with the 115 long rods and a one piece 20 thou base gasket. I ran the 60 thou base gasket and the copper head gasket that roger from wicked atv sells and did not like the power delivery . The motor had little below 7 grand and then hit hard enough to ...

Re: +4 crank on a mildly modified pv engine
I am on my second +4 crank now the first lasted 10 or 11 years and i would not go back to stock. even with unported cylinders the motor had more pull right off the bottom, and once i did some basic cleanup on the intake and transfers and port matched the cases to the cylinders the motor is a beast. ...

Re: RZ Crankshaft Options & Pricing - Canada
if you need a crank tony doukas racing has a 4mil stroker that is about $660 cdn i think . the stroker is a nice upgrade and can make a ton of low end or a 70hp ripper with some port work and the basics. even if i was to build a stocker i would go +4 on the crank.

Re: Repaint costs
small parts are more difficult to work with, every thing requires an extra hand to hold it. many parts have to be hand sanded which takes longer. some body shops would rather not do bike as production shops are set up for cars. at the end of the day its all about making a living.
