Re: My next RZ project.... RZ 1983...
Agree with Aaron do the 250 just because its different and you have the parts :)
Make up the fun factor with low weight and handling perhaps. Maybe work up a really unique style/design?

Yes it doesn't have that hollow sounding crackle thing going on.
Might be different types of packing too...

Re: RZ350 with bolognese sauce
Those ebay specials worked out ok hey Jon!
Funny they turned out quieter than expected at idle/low revs but they spark up a bit when you give it some :)

Bigger outlet - same ID as perf tube now Packed and temp assemble to test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdflMBaY4zc Got some minor adjusting to do to get them to match heights and angles but pretty happy with the result. Seems to run ok. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-...

Re: RZ350 with bolognese sauce
Silencer update. Everything tacked in position. I am tempted to make them high mount - any opinions? I notice that most of racing two strokes eg TZs etc have a short distance between the end of the chamber and the silencer. Better performace? https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-0Te7JP-XRVY/U3ycXFxcrc...

Re: RZ350 with bolognese sauce
Cheated with that bit - got the perf tube from car exhaust place. 1.25" was the smallest they had.
Some washers for the end caps and bits of some old mountain bike handle bars for the outlet pipe
Yeah the old superjaws are pretty handy hey! Hang on to bloody anything
