Re: Austin GP

I do not get Bein sports, but there is a local pub that does. Do you know what time (Eastern) the race will be broadcast? Thank you!

Austin GP

Anybody have information on TV coverage of Austin MotoGP? I usually find out from TV listings at Cyclenews.com, but there is nothing there for Sunday's GP.

Anybody Remember?

When Kenny Roberts closed up his training facility in Spain? I remember it being a pretty hot item before and during the Modenas/Proton years. Also, any Spaniards do any laps on the XR100's at his place in Modesto?

Hey, that makes sense! I never gave the tire issue a thought, and I am one who loved the tire wars of old. Sure wish Dunlop and Michelin could give it a go again, but that's all that will ever be is a wish. Thanks for the post on time of broadcast, waltmil. I will check CN website from now on.

Re: Indy final MOTO GP qualifying and news. Spoooileeeer!

I think Rossi's last spark of greatness for the season was used up at Assen. He and Bautista will probably tangle and be out on the first lap. Sure the remnant of great ability is there, but the fearless adaptibility of youth is GONE. Ditto for Nicky. You were spot on in your other post about Nicky ...

Re: Mugello GP

yeah old RZ, epic for Marquez. if he survives the win it or bin it phase he's gonna be one of the greats. still think Valentino is being passed by in this new era of motogp. sure would love to see him get some results, but i don't know. would be interested to know what you think of Crutchlow!!

Whoa-Rossi qualified 7th. I wish he was sandbagging, but I'm afraid the mojo is really gone. I sure have enjoyed his career.

Re: Closer to the Edge - Isle of Mann

I remember when IOM was part of the GP circuit back in the 60's. If you were a GP racer, you rode the island. It was really exciting back in the days of Hailwood, Redman, Agostini, Read, Ivy and so many of the other old greats doing battle on the multi cylinder Hondas vs the two stroke Yamaha twins,...

Bent Forks

My son was grass tracking my RZ out in the yard and lowsided at less than 20 mph. Tweaked the front end to the left. I loosened the forks hoping everything would untwist. Well, front end did not completely straighten. When I take my hands off the bars, the bike wants to lean to the right. I cannot t...

Agreed, badass. Ben really should have tried to string a few WSBK championships together. When guys go to the top too early it's always a sad story. Well, hope he does great with BMW in WSBK, it will be fun to watch.
