Re: '85 rz 350ypvs flywheel
I mean, you can use it but I don't think they are the same John....The ROW 85 should be a 51L-50 vs a 29L-50. https://www.rdlccrazy.co.uk/html/extra%20info.html This usa or row you're after? They were different. Very good question. USA 85 quite a different bike to ROW. US bikes use the same flywheel...

Re: '85 rz 350ypvs flywheel
Got an 86-90 sitting here but have to check the Bible site to see if any use. This usa or row you're after? They were different.

Re: Rear wheel spacer or collar
The sprocket hub assembly shouldn't move on you. Something is amuk. All the parts are there according to the parts diagram? Is the spacer inside the carrier present? Part 16 on below

Re: Instrument needle resting position
Slightly bend the needle over the resting pin. Then mark the equilibrium position. This is where you put the needle back on after repairs/resto. Hey Martin, That's definitely the smart way to do it! Is there a standard 'resting position' that can be used when the needles were removed prior to check...

Instrument needle resting position
Hi All, Took apart a cluster not thinking I should mark the balls on the backs of the tach and speedo before removing the needles. Couple questions The needle rests against the pins on the face but needs to be pre-wound slightly in order to get that nice return. What is the final resting place of th...

Re: FYI Airtech is " out of Business"
Rory was somehow 'involved' with Airtech I thought? worth messaging him? Rory had gone down there and helped out with getting the F2 bodywork sorted out. He bought a number of sets and may still have some. No further affiliation i'm aware of. The airtech glass was fine provided you were willing to ...

WTB/Trade: Primary gear lash 89-91 or garbage clutch hub to match 94 primary
I've got a good 94 marked primary gear but its not adding up to the right lash with my 65 clutch hub. Looking to buy or trade for the correct primary gear or alternatively get a clutch hub with a 60-62 lash. Prefer to get a damaged hub and rebuild a good one with the ok one i've got here but i'm ope...

Re: RZ vs ??? Unknown transmission parts
For anyone that runs into something like this again albeit unlikely I think its been figured now. The RZ transmission as the 20mm nut ID and the roughly 220/210mm shafts. Looks like someone pressed the front sprocket bearing on the wrong direction and broke some dogs. The other transmission with the...

Re: RZ vs ??? Unknown transmission parts
Looks like a clean install and even coating of yamabond John!
I'm mostly in need of the dims of the clutch hub nut ID to confirm that this other transmission is not RZ. Given the orientation of the clutch hub bearing im thinking its not for a RZ.

Re: RZ vs ??? Unknown transmission parts
One answer that would help me the most up front is what is the ID of the clutch hub nut for the RZ?

RZ vs ??? Unknown transmission parts
Hi guys, bought a bike off a fellow forum member here. Putting the motor back together and the transmission has me stumped. The gearsets in the transmission are different than another spare I have here but i'm not 100% positive my spare is a RZ. Does anyone know which transmission fits a RZ and what...

Headlight & Handlebars
Last couple parts i'm in need of for this project. OEM bars preferably with bar end weights Headlight with trim ring. Lemme know what's around! I could likely manage with a headlight that had a dead bulb and rig up with something more modern in there. Right now I just have the black plastic bucket. ...

Re: WTB: Crankshaft
Managed to find one locally and get it rebuilt from my engine guy. Saved a bit but less than expected after replacing a bunch of parts. Thanks for the posts!
