Re: RZ350 - Blue Spot - R1 discs.

Hi WFO ALWAYS, I am afraid that the last pair were sold on 08th Aug 2022. I did post a notice on this forum on 10th Feb 2021 saying that there were 3 pairs remaining and that I would no longer be manufacturing the caliper adaptors. Unfortunately I am no longer in a position to produce these caliper ...

Re: RZ350 - Blue Spot - R1 discs.

For anyone interested, I currently have 3 pairs of Calliper Adaptors remaining in stock. Please note that I will no longer be manufacturing these items after this date. If you are interested in purchasing a pair of adaptors, the cost would be USD$245.00 for 1 pair (1 left hand & 1 right hand) wh...

Re: RZ350 - Blue Spot - R1 discs.

Hi BoldRZ, Sorry but I do not have all the info that you have asked for. However, these caliper brackets are designed to fit the early RZ350 fork sliders up until around 1985-86. The hole centres on the fork sliders are 42mm apart. Around 1986 I believe that the fork sliders, calipers and caliper ad...

Re: RZ350 - Blue Spot - R1 discs.

The original early RZ350 rotors are 267mm diameter. Early R6 and R1 rotors are 298mm diameter.
Therefore the size difference is 31mm in diameter.

RZ350 - Blue Spot - R1 discs.

A friend of mine in Albany, Western Australia very recently commissioned me to make up a set of caliper mounting brackets. The modification has been to fit early R1 disc rotors (298mm dia) to early RZ350 wheel and forks, using Yamaha R1 'Blue Spot' or 'Gold' calipers. The early RZ350 forks have a no...

SR500 Cafe style

For a number of years now, this old SR500 has been an ongoing project to breathe some new life into it. I acquired it as a pretty scruffy looking machine that had been flogged daily as a commuter bike by the previous owner. My intention is to turn it into a Cafe Racer style 500, based on the look of...
