Re: LC value in Canada

Thanks for your input, very informative. Can you recommend another place to look other than say, Kijiji? Maybe some sort of forum or similar place? Seems like just parts here for the most part. I've been eyeing that white one in thunder Bay, but it's 1600km one way from me. Sent from my moto z4 usin...

Re: LC value in Canada

$4-5K Cdn for a nice bike. $5K USD is $6500. It better be nearly perfect and complete collector condition motorcycle. 30% discount to US pricing before currency conversion should be your expectation. More so for the RZs with updated US pricing in the last year. This is the realistic selling prices....

LC value in Canada

Hi all, looking at a couple 82's. A very nice one, 15k original km. $5000 USD. A not as nice one, triple the km's, needs substantial tinkering for $4000 USD. I'm kinda leaning towards an 81 as I like the color scheme better. What do you guys think of the pricing? I do own a couple f2 rz's, and would...

Re: Air Screws in Stock Carbs

10w-14104-00 is the Yamaha Part number for the screw. They are all over eBay. Banshee is probably the same air screw too. I was a like, thats odd, mine doesn't have that..must be for US emissions. Mine is Canadian.

Re: 88' rz350 jetting thoughts

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I got to thinking maybe my float levels are too low. When first starting, it seems to run great, and pull good up the street. Then on the second pass it acts like it's running out of fuel. Carbs were cleaned over the winter, and again last night. As for the clutch, unsu...

Re: 88' rz350 jetting thoughts

Also curious, what causes the clutch to slip for a second, then grab? My friend I got the bike from said they did this when they were new. I just changed the oil, will see if this helps.

88' rz350 jetting thoughts

Hi all, toying with a almost all stock rz. Only modification is a set of DG pipes. Stock air filter and air box. Current jetting is 27.5 pilots, and 185 mains. It seems to be a bit boggy off the line, although the pilots seem adequate. It will pull hard up to 10k rpm, then struggle to pull 2nd gear....

Re: New Rz owner

Thanks, I finally got the parts page to work. It came in handy for the few mystery parts that I couldn't quite figure out where they went. I paid $1200 USD for it, which I thought was pretty fair.

Fairings are damaged here and there but it's all together. Everything works electrically, starts easy and seems to run ...
