Re: Yamagamma, dinosaur or still relevant.

If I can do it anybody can, ha ha.

Simple build, just need a custom cradle and exhaust from there its just sorting the little things.
About 10 years ago I sent Glyn at GPL Racing the TZR roller and he built me a custom cradle and set of pipes.

Re: RD350LC Hybrid.....

Love to see those vintage Micron`s on the LC, I bet they sound wild, music to my ears.

Excellent build, very nice.

Re: Yamagamma, dinosaur or still relevant.

The TZR in the pic with the Yamagamma is also a 350 hybrid. I found that the stock TZR250 1KT 2MA was faster and handled better than the stock RG250s I owned. With the same 350 ypvs engine in both chassis they now perform similar but the TZR still handles better. Then again I`m pushing 60 years old ...

Re: 1981 RD350LC

Thanks and you know your welcome to ride any of my bikes, its the least I can do after riding some of yours. I still feel bad about dragging your 1990 RZ through several construction sites including fresh tar, lol. And I`ve never ridden through a town that sounded like a part of the female anatomy.....

Yamagamma, dinosaur or still relevant.

Just refreshed my Yamagamma after not riding it for 6 years.
Built a few other hybrids lately so curious to see if the old Gamaha can keep up.

Didn`t see a whole lot of these back in the day but nearly extinct now, only know of one other locally so wondering how many are still around.

1981 RD350LC

1981 RD350LC time capsule. I`ve been chasing this bike for 24 years, the hunt is over. This LC never sold back in 81 so the owner kept it in his local shop riding it occasionally but consistently. The last time I saw it at Empey Yamaha in Madoc Ontario the bike had 600km on it, that was 1999. Long s...

Re: New owner, new member.

Great find, good to know there are still some deals out there even after 40 years.
The fact that it was parked in 86 means a full restoration but at least its all there and original.

Re: Fz600 rear swing arm conversion and JL GP pipes

Sold the GP Lomas pipes and only have a few photos with the FZ600 swing arm and suspension linkage. Fox shock, side stand lengthened a bit to adjust stance. Wish I had more pics and details but I got this bike on a trade 5 years ago so wasn't my build. Replaced the worn 4mm stroker with a fresh stoc...

Re: Fz600 rear swing arm conversion and JL GP pipes

I have JL GP exhaust with FZ600 swing arm.
It sits about an inch and a half higher with the rear fox shock.

Can take detailed photos if that would help.

Re: RZ cases in TZR frame?

So now that I`m retired I should have the time to join in on the conversation every now and then. Just wanted to say thanks all round to those of you that have helped out over the years, much appreciated. I`ve had the TZR350 on the road for 4 years now and don't have any complaints, its been my dail...
