Thanks and welcome back! Funny thing, I just saw that kickstand for the first time a couple of days ago. The ad said something about not using it on soft ground - I can see why. Too bad it doesn't have a larger footprint. It's definitely a blingy-type item. I think the added footprint would make fo...

Some pictures...
here are a few pictures of the start of my project from several years ago. The first pic is of a Hawk framed RZ350 racer. The last 3 are for another board. it's about how much room there is in the frame for other V-twins. The engine in the 2-stroke pics is a Banshee engine I got for free to check th...

Exhaust question
So I brought home my donor RZ for my project last night. I am not real familiar with the RZ so I have a question about the exhaust. I was told the exhaust was stock but looking at it I dont see any yamaha stamps or part #s. The are however stamped (on the expansion chanbers) with "FACTORY EXHAU...

I ask because the frame I am stuffing my RZ engine into will allow a straight manifold :-D Cool deal. When I finish making the new engine mounts, I will mill up a couple of manifolds then... hmmm, so what about thickness? do you think the thickness of the manifold will be important? Not too worried ...

Question for Smurph - FI conversion
Smurph,
Read with great interest your FI conversion for the RZ350. I see the intake manifolds you made were I think 45 Degrees... If you had the room, would you go for a straighter shot into the cylinders or stick with the 45 degrees?
Thanks
Eric
