Which is also better for everything? Carbs, jets, pistons, rings?

So my question is, when you have spent so much $$ on either full restoration or modification, what is expensive resin? [emoji12][emoji3]

Re: 85 RZ350C SEAT

Will the newer RZ/RD seats from a 86,87,88 and so forth fit the 1984/1985 U.S RZ350C bikes? I'm looking for the seats that go higher up the tank than the U.S issued seats. What are the part or model numbers for these seats? Thanks, BA They will not. I have the 88. I have a friend who has the 84. Th...

Re: Rory's US Air-Tech YZR fairing on Canadian FI Build Thre

Some OffRoad guy approached me this week, and made me buy a bunch of F2 RZ parts from him. He threatened to sell them to someone else. That was the "made me" part. I will start an F2 build thread this winter some time. On a happy note, I rode my bike home today from my garage. Love the wa...

No, it works the same as a standard lead battery. Charges the same way as a lead battery. Half the size and a fraction of the weight.

Re: Lithium/solid state batteries

Looking for a smallish battery for the RZ. I realize there are those out there that do not feel these are an appropriate place to run them. I don't really care. Wondering if there is a base size recommended. or a way to correlate the stock battery to the solid state/lithium ones? Any recos from tho...

Is the OEM chain guard for the FZ Jon? I did the R6 and FZ conversion a long time ago and never bothered looking for a chain guard.

Re: Resale Value

If you can do the work yourself, I'd say bare minimum would be $1100 for crank and new pistons, $400 for new clutch, $150 + or - for new seals and gaskets, $100 dollars for lube, $150 for lights all around, and thank would bring it to operational. For $2000 plus or minus, you can be riding. A fully ...

Re: Resale Value

First time post here so I hope I've dropped this in the rite spot. I own a 1988 RZ 350 Canadian which I bought new, 12,000 KM. The bike has sat outside for years and has suffered from the elements. Paint is sun faded and the motor was seized. I'm considering doing a complete restoration, heads , cr...

Re: Good grief!

Has anyone else bought a project bike, and made the mistake of sitting down in front of it with a cleaning rag, or am I the only one dumb enough to think that I could stop after just cleaning the chain gunk off!? Now I have hundreds of dollars of new hardware, and rebuilt and painted brake calipers...

Re: 2T oil/fuel ratio and spark plug colour

You should be running BR9ES plugs. The BR8ES are too hot for the RZ. Possible head damage can result.
