I've already ordered an external fuel filter. The internal one was unsalvageable.

Hot tip... grab a cheap digital camera, or that old one your friends and family have gathering dust in a drawer since they upgraded, take a bunch of before pics :)

I agree its much better, the seals look fine, but... I think that I do still see some rust on the plunger, if that is the case then it could flake and cause problems later. So long as all the rust and dirt is gone from the plunger then it will probably be ok.

Glad you did do some pics, wrapping your phone in glad wrap sometimes works, depends on the unit.

Thanks Jon. I actually found and old camera 8mp that I'll be using. However it's super convent to snap the pic and use tapatalk to upload it to the forum. :wink wink: therefore I might use the glad wrap trick.

First of Happy Father's Day.

Not much going on with the bike this week. My wife and I are in the process of buying a home and the closing date is a month away.

While going through some stuff I came across the original Yamaha tool bag. Like the service manuals I put aside and found later on. I must have done the same with this bag. This is really cool and I'm so glad I found it. All the tools say Yamaha on them. Except for the torque bar.

Does anyone know what that steel brush Swiss Army knife thingy is for?
