Again, no info on the bike, just 1 pic.
This is Lewis Cooke's bike. Set a record last year which was good being the first year with RZ power and turbo.

you know...my turbo rz motor actually is very good...plenty of low end power.... with a rpm controlled boost controller you can make it more civil... without it the boost hits hard! im running upwards of 28LB at max but now im back to 13lbs and working my way up.. slow...... don't want to smoke it LOL
in a 2 stroke turbo you need to make a lot more boost than normal to make any power...

Hello,
New to the forum. Found this post doing a Google search (apologies for thread mining). Peaked my interest as this is my build. Pictures were taken in 2013 by Torco at Bonneville. I would be happy to answer just about any question you may have.

Welcome to the site, I have a few questions. It's a single turbo, did you combine the output of both exhausts into one to feed the turbo? And what boost pressure you running? What changes is required to the carbs?. Thanks

Its a 2-1 pipe with single expansion chamber. We can adjust from 8-28psi boost, currently running 15psi max. The carbs have several modifications to run blow through with alcohol. You must either enclose the carb or run boost to all vents, bowl, top and front of slide to fool the carb into thinking boost pressures are atmosphere. You must also increase fuel pressure as boost pressure rises. The alcohol mods include adding a second main circuit, and dramatically increasing jet sizing.

I would also be interested in getting some additional information on this.
Is there a reason you need to run alky with the boost?
Are there more pictures available somewhere?
This is quite the cool build.
Also, welcome!

From previous reading this is one way to get high efficiency out of a 2-stroke as you hit the pipe and the turbo is spooled at the same time.
Lewis Cooke = Lt1whatever? Hope not. LT sucked.

We've seen a peak of 147 mph but have yet to make two successful passes maintaining that speed accross the timed mile

It is geared for a peak of 167mph and will pull it, but we've been working on the fuel system a bit

Very nice! I have a couple turbo cars and love them. The cooling effect of alcohol is awesome. Do you have some more pics of the set up? Can't tell if you have an intercooler. What HP is it putting down?

we need a youtube video so we can hear this beast run. Does anyone do nitrous on a bike? That would be a blast on a two stroke I bet. Sounds like a piston frying adventure. There was an H1 on ebay a while back with a cheater bottle bolted to the back.

Don't use photobucket.
If you don't have a hosting solution let one of us know and we can help out.
Pictures would be great to see!
