Curiously, TZRs and RZ500s use the same type of coupler and we don't hear about problems there.

Edit:
For my RD350 I have designed an adjustable coupler. Now the valves are perfectly aligned with the exhaust port on both sides.
Still the problem with the missalignment, but to be honest, I`m one of the guys who was tightening the cylinder base nuts without checking the alignment :smt021
Is ther really so much clearance between the fitting sleeves and cylinder/cylinder block to adjust them?

Until now everything works fine, I can turn the valves with 2 fingers. Just the seals are a bit leaky, I guess because of worn bushes...

I drilled the middle out of my coupler on one side, it's only there to keep the seals in. Separate pulley on each side and no more alignment issues.

I've read about the dual controll, 4 cable set up. Can someone tell me how the 4 cables are connected? Are there 4 cables joined to the servo motor or is there 2 servo motors. I have worn out a centre coupler, that has been filled a few times, now the end's of my power valves (inside coupler) have worn.

I used to make a kit, you would either drill out the centre coupler as RuZty did or buy the complete kit to remove the inner seals altogether.

Picture is worth a thousand words. I think you had 2 partial kits without the bushings and weren't planning on doing more so I snapped them up. The bushings would finish it nicely and eliminate another leakage area.

Looking at the products you build slinger is like going to a strip club. I want them but i can't have them. You used to make a kit for power valve. You used to make engine cradle and chambers for a 350 into a tzr. Any chance you can make some more valve kits? Please.

Is that because people are talking big bore, no power valve, strokers with upside down fork conversion's????
Still love a ypvs bike's as they came outta the box. My daily ride is a ported and piped 31k. running carbon reeds, stock air box and carbs. The thing revs to 11g every ride. lifts the front wheel in 1st and sometimes 2nd. Stock front end dives to much. brakes are fine, r6 rear shock is the best thing on the bike.
To me it's ulltimate hill scratcher. Theres a road near my house that recieved 2 new sign's 6 weeks ago. ""Motorcyle deaths on this road since 2005. 8. Sobering message. You can't use a 1000 bike on public roads.
I thought buying an rz350 would give me the fun factor. It does in spades. It also took away "stupid speed riding" on public roads and the fines i got riding an R1. I ride at 80k's on the straight's and speed up for the corners. I don't ride with anyone that can pass my ypvs on twisty roads.
Got a bit of topic here. I just finnished a 3rd rebuild on the daily ride. I filled the coupler a mill or so. also the power valve to sqaure it. Took your advice silverstrom and installed the head at half torque then tightened the barrells, paying attention to alignment. . I found a problem of binding on the inside bush of the left cylinder. It's a new bush and oring. looks like the bush retainer pulls the bush in and of centre. I may use a thin washer behing the retainer to see if it squares up. Problem could be some ovaling on the valve bore.
Slinger my hats of to you. Top quality, inovative, fast. Have you ever considered a patent on your product then sell it to someone who can manufacture and sell?? Comes back to what you said. limited interest and your busy. I'll pay you a hundred US for a 4 cable kit and a gpl sticker, put me down for 2 kits.

Im pretty sure they were about 3x that amount for the full kit when they were available, at $100 Id have had a few sets for my builds too.

I think most machine shops would charge at least $100 for the pulley alone, if you provided the drawing...

The RZ500 uses a 4 cable pulley that will bolt right on to the RZ350 servo motor.
