Hi all,
I am new to the forum, and the owner of a '75 RD350. I got the bike awhile back as a project, and since have been working to restore it to its former glory. After a week of having the bike, and running a 32:1 pre-mix, I noticed the bike was having some issues running smoothly. Bike starts first kick, no issues, however once up to running temp, the revs start to climb uncontrollably and then I have to kill the bike. After that, I can't kick it back up. The bike is unique in that it is running a Trinity 2-1 and Keihin carb. The stock petcock has one fuel line pulgged, and I am wondering if this could contribute to the issue. Took the petcock off and cleaned it, and same with the carb so at the moment I am just trying to problem solve by trial and error. Any ideas as to what could be contributing to the rev issue? Let me know if theres any other info, and Ill try to include pics of the carb, etc. Thank you!!

I would suspect airleak somewhere.

This would make sense. My intake manifold gasket for the Trinity 2-1 is cracking. I am going to get a gasket sealer and see if that helps. Any other recommendations?

if you spray carb starter or similar product on the suspect manifold while its running and you get a change in revs you have a leak in that location.What_Im_DEF wrote:This would make sense. If it's cracking, replace it or get rid of it.
