Throttle assembly replacement

#1 Post by Bald Anthony » Thu Mar 02, 2017 5:08 pm

Hello,

I'm looking for assistance with replacing the stock throttle assembly. I'm not going to use the stock controls. I'm looking for information in regards to a complete replacement of the throttle assembly. Company? Part numbers? Photos?... etc. I have a stock 2013 R6 throttle assembly that I want to use, but the stock RZ cable is not long enough.

Thanks,

Bald Anthony

Gather the parts, and build your own. You should be able to get the supplies from anyone who can order from Parts Unlimited.

I have a domino twin pull quick action throttle on my 81 lc . I run premix so that made the throttle selection easier. The twin cable pull makes balancing simple and gets rid of the slitter that if neglected can be a source of sticking.
