Advantage Parts = Niche Industries?

#1 Post by evan_calgary » Thu Mar 09, 2017 3:16 am

Wasting some time on eBay and I keep running across these dirt cheap 'new' top ends for the banshee. Most seem ot be Advantage Parts brand. The prices are nuts low. $150-200 for a whole top end rebuild kit including cyls and pistons.

I read the review on the banshee site about the Niche Industries cylinders. Not interested in those.

Curious if the ones sold by Advantage Parts are the same deal?

How many companies do you think are making aftermarket Banshee parts?
I'll bet dollars to donuts they are the same part.

I ordered a $54 CDN banshee stator... I'll let you know.

Dunno.. Could also be several makers.
I've seen Chinese Copies of Copies of Copies.. All virtually the same item.. except the quality was increasingly Lower with each copy.
Even 'Brand Name' aftermarket Crankshafts are worthless Crap IMO.
You Really wanna try Bottom of the bottom feeding?

You usually do. You can also pay twice the factory price for a lot of stuff when it makes the way through multiple distributors.

Less likely than getting a "good deal" on a POS. You oughta see the junk people bring me to install on their bikes. Shiny pieces of shit that don't function from ebay.
