power valve

#1 Post by Russ Coyote » Mon Mar 20, 2017 6:12 pm

I have coolant leaking from cap on left side power valve. Can the seals be replaced w/o
removing the top end?

Thanks to all,,

You have a much more serious issue if there's rad fluid coming out the powervalve. The two are not connected. I think that cylinder might have a crack where it doesn't belong....

what Justin said. you need to investigate this ASAP, coolant should not be near the PVs.

Sounds more like a head gasket issue where the water finds its way down to the valves.

I was originally thinking this too. He'll need to put a paper towel on the cylinder and see if that's the case..
