2 into 1 intake

#1 Post by 350YPVS » Wed Oct 04, 2017 8:02 pm

Wondering if anyone is using a 2 into 1 intake from Mcdermott racing, BP racing, Chariot or other? I'm interested from an ease of tuning perspective or possible a fuel injection one. Also, does anyone know what kind of performance change I could expect. My bike is a street bike so a loss of a couple of HP up top would not matter to me.

Thx.

Creates a nasty manifold.

Truly a pair of 28mm pwk is well trodden path and easy to tune and fit with oil injection etc.

Fuel iinjection well you contradict your requirements as once you have two throttle bodies tuning is exactly the same process as one. However Iknow ppeople years into FI onto 2stroke racebike projects and still no where near usable so ease of tuning is not going to fall in your lap. There are a few successful stories like one on this forum but don't think it will be easy.

Two kx85 fitment pwk carbs off eBay.
