Banshee Exhaust Question

#1 Post by Smoker » Mon Sep 17, 2018 11:34 am

On the OEM microfiche for the (1990) Banshee, it shows an exhaust flange o-ring.

No part number is listed for the o-ring.

Does anyone know the o-ring part number or size?

Why is there no part number? Seems like that o-ring would be changed often.

#4 looks like an o-ring that goes between the pipe and stinger.

Want the o-ring/gasket that goes between the engine and pipe.

It is #4. They only show it for one pipe because it is the same for the other. #3 is the springs, #4 is the seal and shows quantity of 2. https://www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-yfz350a-ba ... 6BsuuTQaUk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks. Just needed a little help. :smt023

I have some billet (Banshee) exhaust manifolds. Looks like an o-ring is supposed to go between the manifold and pipe header.

Hmmmm, can you post a pic of these parts? I can't quite complete the mental picture of what you're saying. Do some aftermarket banshee cylinders have a bolt on exhaust manifold?

If you’re using pipes with billet manifolds, then their usually is a sealing o-ring between the pipe and the bolt on manifold. Then your standard and crush gasket between the manifold and the barrel

Probably should have said pipe flanges, instead of manifolds. [smilie=dunno.gif]

Need to get the o-ring size that goes between the billet pipe flanges and pipe.

There are also o-rings between the billet flanges and cylinders, but it's a different size.

:smt023 All I could think of was that you were trying to put banshee cylinders and pipes on your project!
