I did have an auto retractable reel, but the thing was cheap and nasty and leaked (after about 14months of minimal use, hmm), but until it died it was great to just let it retract and be out of the way. Ive considered getting another one, but cant find one of decent enough quality, the problem is that the cheap ones have a plastic collar that sits over a brass inlet / pin and allows the hose to spin around. It has a couple of seals but when they die its hard to get the replacements in. I tried and tried with mine and in the end it was taking so much time and effort that I gave up.

I also have a hydraulic 'ATV stand', on special at supercheap for 99 this month i think, that i got fro repco for 149, usually 229-249. Its a solid thing and lifts bikes properly unlike the MX stand's puuuuush-clonk..... liiiiift-clonk!

Switch blocks blasted n painted, new decals & cleaned all cables internals etc. Did top triple clamp again as wasnt happy with first attempt, came out with fish eyes but used KBS all purpose etch primer & worked well.
Also fitted tappered steer bearings. Swapped all bolts out for 316 ss cap & dome heads.....blinga bling bling.

Ah there you go,didnt know that but thanks Jon & yes he's a good bloke to deal with & no you cant have ago ..........yet lol.
There is two of them fancy lifto lugs, the head unit with the main wire feed can be dismounted up to 6 meters away from main power unit which is handy. I need to pickup another powered spool handle for aly work yet & grab a bigger argon bottle.....
Got forks done today, feels so good having a pair of forks that actually work lol.
Pics later,im doing front rim at mo.....
