RC31 Another For The Shed

#1 Post by silverstrom » Sat Oct 31, 2015 9:54 pm

Still keeping busy and always looking for the next interesting toy. Brought this home last week. 1988 Honda NT650 RC31. Alloy frame, single sided swingarm made by ELF, Nissin brakes including 4 pot calipers, etc. Very well made and amazing condition for a 27 year old machine.

Many thanks to member Straycat for letting me have her :smt023

Not lately. Below freezing at night now and cold days, but they say 17C for a few days next week.

That's the plan Jason. Do basic servicing and ride it, although even that is becoming questionable now that my arthritis is out of control. I'm hoping the pharmaceutical cocktail of poisons my rheumatologist has me taking now will extend my riding career. If not, watch this space for a huge sale. Lol

Oh no seriously? Im guessing the cold weather isnt helping & pulling on spanners all those years.....
Im in same boat but mainly my hands esp my thumbs.
You need to move to a warmer climate,i hear that helps this condition. Ive been working on a shipping container deal from Canada (Rory doesnt suspect anything yet ;-) ) ill have spare space, put your bikes in & come on over to Oz lol.

Does that sea container have business class? If so, count me in. It will be better than sitting here getting old watching the snow accumulate. A warmer climate is definitely needed.
