I replaced the cam chain tensioners in the Rotax w/mechanical. No more BS with oil pressure check valves erratic behavior.

Well, just an update on the old TL. Clutch was getting tired at end of last season so managed to source a 6 bolt setup out of a TLR motor. Bit of an upgrade over the original 5 bolt setup. Works great now! Was out with a buddy, he got a vstrom 1000, so grandpa and youngster engines, almost 20 years apart and not crazy different.

Anyway lads, have a great summer. Ride safe....................BTW I did get back into 2 strokes (how can you stay away?). Picked up a IT400 and 425. 400's a runner and the 425 needs second gear but I got lots of spare parts with it so that's upcoming. Just gave them a quick wash so they have that artificial shiny look. Then they dry off, oooh dull.....for an almost 40 year old bike the 400 is in decent shape and the 425 came from California apparently so that's interesting. That would be 2 owners before me.

I did just get a rear fender for the 400 and some other parts so will try to get at that. Tough in summer when the weather is nice and you don't want to be wrenching.

Had the pleasure to test an IT490 back in the late 80's - fantastic low end torque and just 4 gears !
