I don't recall after all these years. I gave up and sold it for a GS1100E.
Cheers!

Got my second test ride in today, this time with the new tires, and it is much improved. The 90/90 front made the steering much sharper and I didn't notice any loss of stability. I did notice a lack of acceleration above 6k. I am going to check the throttle adjustment and if that is okay I might be rich on the mains. The carbs were feeding a 150cc cylinder and now are feeding a 276cc cylinder. I believe I thought incorrectly that I should go richer but smarter people have stated otherwise. I will look at the plugs but I don't think it is lean. It is a warm day and the temperature gauge did not go over halfway in 20 miles.
Out to the shop and found the problem right away. I had left part of the FZ interconnect link on the back of the rear carb, I needed it for a spacer on the throttle shaft but I didn't see it hitting a frame brace. I will cut that off. The plugs are a little sooty but since it was never at wot I will wait a bit for jetting changes. I am still thinking about going to 50 pilots so I am going to place an order at jetsRus, maybe get some leaner mains.

I got the bike back in running condition today. The throttle issue is fixed and I have pod filters on it plus the bar mount choke is connected. I was going to ride it but it is raining. Maybe tomorrow.

Had a most unsatisfactory ride yesterday. The bike really flattened out at 5K. All I did was remove the throttle block and change to pod filters. I suspect the pods. Do they work on anything? I am going back to the stock filter setup and going a step leaner on the mains as I think it was rich on the previous ride.

No, they are UNIs. I saw another Vision on the ROV site with them and thought I would try them. I have the stock setup back on it now and 127.5 mains. It started right up yesterday but it was just too hot to ride. I will try it this morning maybe.
It did better but was rich on the bottom so I went back to the stock 32.5 pilots and 52.5 starter jets, and nearly blew it up! I don't have a very good throttle cable setup so I have a fairly crude install procedure that involves WOT and the throttle lock. I am surprised that it started cold with the throttle wide open. I got it shut off but, damn! It started ok once my heart had returned to normal. Sure hope I didn't wipe a bearing.

Took my RZ for a little ride today. I am working on my Vision's front brakes and wanted to ride. I just love my RZ. The 4 piston brakes are still amazing and it is more comfortable than the Vision for my knee. Did some country two lane, up and down, twisty, stop and go and a short stretch of interstate. It was only 35 miles but it reaffirmed why I have the RZ.
