Aus G.P. Phillip Is - Ludicrous Regs result in Farce..

#1 Post by J.A.W. » Thu Oct 17, 2013 5:48 am

Casey Stoner has won the last umpteen, but he aint there this time..

All of the other top guys have won there in various classes, & know the track..

Who's gonna get up.. I might just put a quid on one of 'em..

Casey bought me a case - ah, slab - of beer - for years on a $10- wager..

Now - who can best carry on his good work?

Well, they'll be out on track today, hmmm, decisions.. decisions..

Maybe Marcy will crash? Maybe Rosy will find some form & spoil George's day..

Maybe Pedro has found a core of steel - somewhere down deep?

Ok, so - Lorenzo finished on top of Friday practice with a 1:28.96..

Marquez crashed on tricky Lukey Heights but was unhurt, & snared 2nd fastest time..

Proper qualifying tomorrow..

Is it just me or has everyone wondered what Jorge would do on a Hondog. And next year if Rossi is still around he will have Nicky Hayden at his heels on the new Hondog customer bike imo. that should be good! I think N.H. could still be a threat to some of the top riders, only time will tell.

Marquez : Black Flagged for staying out 1 lap too long..
Pedrosa : Penalized 1 position for exceeding pit lane speed limit.

That's what I thought at first but the rules were in place before the rule was broken? Honda clearly did not understand the rule?

The announcers did not know what the punishment was and were clearly surprised that he got dq'ed.

Announcers are, in the main, morons..

The FIM should be charging race control/Dorna with bringing the sport into disrepute..

But that's a joke too, since Dorna boss 'Esse' is only interested in a 'SHOW'..

& its his circus, so its ok by him - if he turns the lion tamers into clowns..

The tyre situation was very dangerous, Bridgestone were not joking when they said a tyre would only last 10 laps. Bike changes were very smooth , what was very poor was placing the end of the pit lane to lose to Doohan corner, which is where Loreno and Marquez touched.
