Spanish GP (Spoiler)

#1 Post by solo 2 » Mon Jun 16, 2014 8:56 am

Tell me that wasn't a great race right to the end. 4 world champions battling it out. I can't believe Pedrosa stayed upright after hitting Marquez, did you see the suspension movement in slo-mo, unreal. What happened to Lorenzo, after such a stellar performance in Italy, seemed to just sit back, maybe trying to ensure points? I almost wish Rossi had gone on to win, great ride for someone who is getting into that out of his prime age.

Marquez's lurid slide in practice was awesome, looked like he had it but went down.

Not sure you were watching the same race, the only predictable thing was Marquez winning (and only by odds), and the last 2 races have been anything but a cake walk for him. This is the first race it looks like Pedrosa was even trying and Lorenzo played dead half way through the race.

The young one only needs to go fast enough to win. Those are trait's of a smart racer.

I think it's great everyone is stepping up to the plate and upping their game. Marquez is loving the competition and I'm loving Rossi putting it to horegay every race. marquez can be beaten and there's 3 or 4 that can do it. Yamaha has stepped up the power on the bike,Rossi, horegay and Dani have worked harder to get closer to Marquez. He made several mistakes this weekend and it shows just how hard everyone up front is running right now. Awesome racing. In the end if everyone stays healthy this will be a season truly worthy of the adjective "epic."

Exciting race to watch. It's nice to see Rossi up front again.
Wondering if any GP rider/ manufacture has had a perfect season?

I don't think anyone has ever completed a perfect season. IF anyone ever did it, I'd put my money on Ago.

I'd be willing to bet no one has ever done it with this much depth in the field of riders or bikes. People always talk about the old days and to some extent they are right, but a lot of the old guys were on unbeatable bikes at the time as well as being at the top of their abilities.

A little part of me wants to see exactly how many races the kid can strut together .... just for shits & giggles.

We all thought Rossi was a god. Marquez is a step beyond.

As much of a Marquez fan boy that I am, I wouldn't complain to see Rossi win some. At his age to still be hangin with the young guys is absolutely amazing. What a career.

Agreed and I'm not even a Marquez fanboy. I'm just impressed with his skill level.
