Packing for Valencia

#1 Post by Hooligan » Wed Oct 29, 2014 1:41 am

This time next week I am going to be jetting across the Atlantic on my way to Valencia. :smt026 :smt004

Being friends with a MotoGP star certainly has its benefits. We will have guest passes for the paddock and will (hopefully) be at the end of season after-party.

Our biggest problem right now is what do we bring our host that says "Canada" or more specifically "Calgary?" Maple syrup etc is nice but it is much more indicative of eastern Canada. A cowboy hat is certainly Calgary but I'm not sure how that would go over with a sophisticated 23 year old European?

I'm sure his hot euro girlfriend would LOVE the spurs.

I cycled in Catalyan (where the signs were all whited out and redone in Catalyan) and Valencia about 13 years ago. No racing but riding mtn roads every day.

One of the strangest times was going to a festival at night where they had huge paper mache animatronics on floats, then exploded them with fireworks. I could speak spanish but couldn't follow their language.

Have fun be safe.
