Tony Elias vs American racetracks

#1 Post by Questo vecchio rz » Sun Apr 17, 2016 1:30 pm

Waiting to watch how Elias fares on old school American tracks and lots of backmarkers and a sub class racing at the same time. Should be pretty fun to watch. Its at Road Atlanta today for race 1 & 2 of the Moto America Superbike Shootout. Yoshimura vs Yamaha. Elias said it's the most difficult track he's ever been to. Haden wants so bad to win, but well see. The Yamahas have set the qualifying times.
I haven't paid attention to Moto America electronics/tire /engines rules or if the tracks changed, but these machines are 2 seconds a lap slower than Mladin & Spies raced at, that's a huge gap. Far less money involved after the recession.
