Godspeed Nicky Hayden RIP

#1 Post by Questo vecchio rz » Mon May 22, 2017 3:52 pm

I'm still in a awful place with the death of my wife, and this does not help my spirits but he was such a nice dude it's worth saying a few words and prayers as well

Unfortunately he died from his injuries.

He led a life we all could only dream of, a Factory Honda rider at age 16 while still in high school and went in to a AMA championship and champion of the world in GP, earned millions and apparently he did not suffer. Can't ask for too much more.
Such a nice guy too, I was fortunate enough to be a spectator and witness him win the Moto GP race at Laguna Seca

Ride in peace Nicky. You're missed.

We were out riding yesterday when my phone popped up with the news. There were just two of us and our bikes, sitting on the top of a mountain looking out over some petty spectacular scenery. We sat for a few minutes in silence while we processed this news. This will be a memory I will never forget.
