Didn't even notice the black triangles on the side covers, easy to add on.
The basecoat is a bmw auto color "monte carlo blue".

Nice machine. Good to have yet another LC back on the road. My parents in law live just outside of Parksville.

When I restored my LC I also painted the plastic panels and then decided I wanted the triangle black. Rather than sending them back to the paint shop I tried some Krylon Satin Black for plastic and it was a dead match for the original black. At least as good as my painter would have done.
