Thx gents - recognize the signals Rob (lol)? & interesting I never thought I had to travel 6154kms to find 'em. Searching for a helmet - fancy the 2012 AGV Guy Martin - colour match the bike but yissh pricy. Just got a part from the Pope - Vatican city religous book store oddly. I thought he would be more of a Vispa kinda guy. Found a bonus bike bit on the inside cover. Debating weather to put it on the bike. Micron fork brace came fm the Isle of Man - and its the plan to bring it right back there hopefully.

I have sold one pile of parts off 1 black donor LC. Hated to break it but when I see parts going on bikes all over the world it makes me feel better. Plus the cash raised goes straight into my RZ's, which helps them live on!

Yes, Jon's blog was certainly inspirational regarding the colour scheme without a doubt. Decided to leave the big bore challange (sounds like a hunting trip) for the next project. Still have a few adjustments to make however - like what to do with the side stand spring retention nob (inside) from continual scatching the micron left pipe. Just use the centre stand - think not. Want to avoid grinding after having to destroy a OEM off set gas cap for the tank. Wrapped the nob with electrical tape as a temp measure. Time to ponder.

Looks great. Combines my two favourite things, the look of the LC and the color scheme of the KR Special Edition.

Looks like you are in need of a rubber. Some silcone would like be another temp solution but can't think of anything off top of head that would be proper size on there.

Odd.. your sidestand / spring nub Shouldn't be anywhere near those Microns.
Quick guess is that those or not properly mounted ? Or something is well bent.
Took Me over a solid day's work to decently fit Microns.
Had to saw off the Hanger brackets,
Make New ones and then reweld them on in a 'better' location. Locked the things on 'perfectly' then welded on the brackets.
My guess is that their Maker had a sloppy Jig.
As result the pipes hug the frame V nicely, fit perfectly and Clear everything.
Although I have NO centre stand fitted.
PS: the Sidestand spring thing didn't hit my Microns, even before the remount work.

maybe the side stand to mount fork location is well worn allowing the spring to pull it in towards the pipe.?
