to me this is an example of "just because you can, doesn't you should".

She might not be pretty but she will always be a fun ride

Bet that beauty handles real well too.
Power of an R1 in a clapped/wiggly LC chassis.. pure genius.
Most frightening aspect is that some Cretin bought it!
Gawd I hope he only rides it 'on the Island'
Vancouver Island is a world of it's own.. (no disrespect mate)

None taken cause its not mine. Vancouver Is. has that eclectic edge about it - not just geographically. Certainly not cookie cutter society here - part of its charm. The bike is just another hybrid to me actually inverted. Squid-like to handle I imagine - more drag bike. If I see the buyer I'll ask what it's like to handle (if he/she lives long enough to do so) and what it sold or traded for.

What a way to unhandle an R1. Just put a big hinge in it.

Wonder if there is an R1 around with an LC motor in it. How to ruin 2 good bikes.

Interestingly the gent who attempted to sell it did not - the ad defaulted to 'sold'. In fact local public (village) outcry, regarding this creation of Franken-bike, shamed the owner/creator to pull the add. There you have it.
