LC Fuel line replacement

#1 Post by LC Cnd » Mon Sep 26, 2016 3:28 pm

Perhaps an engine question but I thought I'd ask here; what is the best type of replacement fuel line? Purchased Canadian Tire clear bulk fuel line which claimed it was resistant to ethanol. However, they are in a petrafied after one season of being on the LC. Enjoy the fact I can view fuel flow but not the state the lines are in. The purchase does not necessarily have to be in Canada although our dollar also seems to be in a state of disrepair. Thoughts?

Oem lines? Im always looking at other model bikes fuel lines like R1etc that will be long enough, near enough same shape & of course the right id etc late model stuff that will be impervious to that fuel.
Im still looking but there will be something there close enough,im going through snowmobiles now lol.

Cheap clear plastic Line works Fine. Usually needs replacing each spring though.
No biggie however as it's almost free.
Tygon (yellow) is Great Fuel line.. a bit tricky to find in the correct size .
Chevron 94 Octane contains NO Ethanol.
My bike and even my Shindaiwa's .. Need it.. to run properly.
