Well went an examined the 1987 RG (not RVG & I think its an 84). Interestingly it has a Canadian flag as part of the rear beazle decal above the tail light. Not sure if it would be worth it to get the swing arm/wheel and front suspension/wheel as the tire width is essentially the same as an RD. Other parts are missing as noted in the pic. I'm better off just building a stock RD at this point.

you wouldnt put the bits in an RD really, this could be a yamagama tho.

If you just want to play with bits and see what happens then have a play with the R1 parts, you dont have to keep em if they dont cost anything and you might be able to swap or sell them for the bits you want later?
