Re: fork seals LC and early RZ
Are they not a different ID? I thought the earlier RZ had larger forks thus why it was an upgrade for the LC...Hooligan would know for sure.
Re: fork seals LC and early RZ
Yep. LC forks are 32mm
RZ are 35mm.
Mark: Did you finish your LC with the YPVS motor?

Re: fork seals LC and early RZ
Hi 2Smoke , well sort of , it runs reasonably well with 350 spec11 pipes cobbled on the athenna motor, but i have some big bore TSA pipes on order that should improve things.2smoke wrote:Yep. LC forks are 32mm

Switch to Yamaha Banshee F'glass reeds.
Cheap and effective improvements.
PS: Zeel is worth as much (more possibly) as pipes, perf adding wise.. just saying
Oohh No PVS' ! Shame that as Zeel PV controller part is worth it's Weight.

Re: fork seals LC and early RZ
LC and RZ forks are entirely different size. I do keep seeing a reference to the dust seals where one is longer? Not really sure what thats about as I've only ever seen one type of dust seal.
The two things I did on my LC motor that made a big difference were CF reeds and 6mm reed block spacers. The spacers entirely get rid of the midrange stumble. My bike will pull cleanly across the 6500 rpm flat spot in 6th gear without any fuss.
