Montey Python's flying bidding

#1 Post by LC Cnd » Tue Oct 17, 2017 1:26 am

31 bids and 4 days still to go. Reserve not met yet? Note another LC, owned an Alan Philips, reported to be for sale at 35,000 pounds & appearently worth it(?). Speechless.

Says he'll throw in a set of Lomas pipes if reserve is met. I didn't know you could complete the sale if the reserve wasn't met.
I think LC's and RZ500's are now trading with the same rationale used to price hockey and baseball cards and old comic books.

Mr. Philips - don't know and it does not matter as the sale did not make reserve. Perhaps he is a 'private bidder' which is suspect in itself and perhaps a pump up on bidding. Bottom line - no sale. The 'what other people are watching' eBay banner is probably more realist.
