I did the blue spot on my RZ350, Best upgrade I did by far...
I might just do that with this one, Time to look for a set of adapters :)

I have the NK Racing adapters on my bike. I just had them anodized black to blend in a bit better.

IF you have even considered upgrading the LC forks to RZ units, get a set of later model lower tubes and mate them to the early model upper tubes. Then a set of Triumph 4-pot calipers will bolt right on, no adapter plate needed.

The late model RZ fork lower tubes have a wider caliper mount spacing.

A little more progress.
Cases and carbs are vapor blasted, Fork lowers footrest hangers fully refinished to factory look, Powder coated clear to protect them.

WOW, the vapour blasting sure turns out nicely.

If you aren't determined to keep the paint OEM, this is what I did with my motor. It is all VHT rattle can. The head is gloss and the barrels are crinkle. It turned out really good IMO.

This was the look I was going for. It was just that the polished head was gonna be a HUGE PIA so I went to the gloss paint as a simpler solution.

That’s a beauty. I’m going to keep mine as close to stock on the outside as I can. I did have a crinkle paint job once and it was a bitch to keep clean. I just spent too much time trying to keep it looking good. So I swore never again :)
Love the carbs. I have a set of stock ones all vapor blasted etc and I have a new set of 30s that came with an RZ I bough. I’m going to run Tyga pipes, V-Force 4 reeds with spacers, ported cylinders and a lot of clean up and I might run the 30s.
Still figuring that one out :)

Where did you find a set of V-Force reeds to fit LC barrels? I was 't aware they made such a thing.

They don't make them, I'm using banshee reed blocks, Inlets have to be modded for them to fit..

And just how much metal you have to remove to fit Banshee /Rz reed blocks into an LC cyl. Often modders hit air doing this (although with Care and Precision) it has been done without breaking thru.. V thin margins tho.

you can fit vf3 YZ85 reed blocks to the LC, much easier than using the ypvs versions.

Like bare i wonder just how much hassle you will have what with welding up the thin LC side walls.

Quite a lot. I've got a set of cylinders that had it done and the difference is quite big.

How different is the ZY85 reed block from the LC unit? Does the LC cylinder need to be modified? Do we really think the VF3 reeds are better than a set of HiTech carbon reeds?
