Maybe but I also keep hearing how the reproduction cranks are crap etc etc. At least rebuilding an OEM crank we start out w the best components.

I've had two done now and no problems or extra charges.

New cranks taint cheap.

Wow Fools' pricings there. Typ Banshee OEM Yama crank is ~425 U$ Sometimes w free shippings as a small consolation.
And Yes Banshee/YPVS cranks do fit and if the unlucky owner of LC cases that won't allow it to drop in.... a 100$ worth of slight case mods ensures it does.

$425 usd is currently $560 cdn. Thats just the currency conversion. There will normally be shipping and for sure there will be GST and import duties to be paid. In the end, a crank sourced in USA will cost virtually the same as a rebuild .... which starts out with OEM parts.

Thats not even taking into consideration the $100+ it will cost to mod the LC cases.

How exactly is it fools pricing to rebuild an OEM crank?
