Beautiful bike Ken. I'd love to have something like that in my shed. Looks like a lot of fun.

Love it. I got my Mars Bar painted pieces back, look so good. Gathering steam to put her back together, still painting little pieces. Should be running in 3 to 10 weeks depending on wiring issues. R1 Speedo/tach. RZ wiring harness, LC switches. It will be really fun sorting out all the wiring and getting it right.

This is my original 81 Mars Bar as well.

Thxs guys....I didn't buy it new,,,it was 4 years old when i got it...I remember working at McDonalds for 2 years to save up to buy a bike when i turned 16..lol
I think i was making $2.85 hour,,,lol
But ..yes this is the exact bike..( numbers matching). still with original paint..and seat cover.....I bought it off the guy i sold it too...after he added a dent to the tank and blew the top end.....It is not mint...but looks respectful for a old girl..:smt007

steveloomis..thxs again for relay help on my hybrid project.. and good luck with your wiring job on the RD.RZ
Sounds like you have the same time line as me 3 to 10 weeks ...I hope to have the hybrid done as well......hope...lol
