Newbie on here,but a regular rider on the Uk forums!!

Just started putting "Barnsley" back together...
Matching numbers,last owner 20 years,UK bike 4 owners form new....

Few NOS bits and pieces fitted...

NOS Centre stand..."Cheers Clyde"... :smt002

Calipers re-built and powercoated by Nick Chambers-excellent job and excellent person to deal with....

NOS stanchions

New replica discs..... I have had a batch of these made up from an original Yamaha disc. As you can see there are spot on!!

Only have 2 sets left if anyone is interested...pm me for more info.

Coming along very nicely. I like your use of new bolts, I had to reuse my bolts after cleaning, but never as nice a shiny new ones. I'll be following your build with interest.
'81 RD350LC hybrid w/84 RZ engine. Zeel, Old style Toomeys, Yboot and filter 420 main 22.5 pilot, Air screw 2.5 turns out, DJ needle 2nd from top, Canadian VM26 carbs.
'85 KR/RZ US. Tank is seeping causing a blister in paint.....

Man you should have left that rad yellow on the fork tubes! Haha. But very nice work.

Having just restored a Elsie, I really appreciate the work you have done, many nice shiny parts. Can't wait to see more of it as you go along.

If this build keeps going the same way throughout, It'll be the nicest stocker on the planet. Very nice so far.

How did you refinish the tank interior?

Nice paint work.. :smt003 ...no high or low marks from the different stages of paint...very time consuming...very nice
