what to use to stick the pipe back into the petcock ?

i was pulling on the fuel line from petcock to carb and pulled the brass pipe out of the tap

.
what is good to reattach it with .
i was thinking to epoxy it back in but not sure what effect the gas might have on it.

i used JB-weld to hold mine in.
